Dentists Highlight Need for Mouth Cancer Awareness

In New Zealand, dentists are calling for more mouth cancer awareness. The Ulster Cancer Foundation is also using Mouth Cancer Week to educate people about symptoms and early signs of mouth cancer.

According to reports, Harry Angus, a painter and decorator by profession, who is also an unpaid firefighter, requested his dentist to examine; if he was suffering from mouth ulcer.

After getting his complaints, four weeks ago Ninewells Hospital doctors, operated him with cancerous lump by removing his tongue and after few days, the victim claimed that he was having some difficulty in eating and speaking.

However, after five months of his surgery, he stated till now he has not recovered properly, as still he still has a minor stain.
